Thursday will again be a hot and muggy one after a warm overnight Wednesday night. Cooler air and rain arrive Friday.
A warm night and a windy, hot Thursday
Overnight lows Wednesday night will much more like a summer night, in the 60s to near 70 degrees across southern Minnesota

Thursday will be hot with many southern Minnesota places near 90. Cooler air will already push into northwestern Minnesota.

Along with the warmth will be wind. Winds will be from the south at 15-25 mph with gusts of 25-30 mph.

Showers Friday, cooler through the weekend
Showers will be across much of central Minnesota up through the North Shore Friday in the wake of a significant cool front.

High temperatures Friday will be mainly in the 60s and low 70s into the weekend.
