Thursday will be cooler as north winds blow at 10-25 mph. High temperatures will be in the 50s early and fall into the 40s by evening. Friday will be cooler with highs in the 40s and low 50s but with lighter winds and more sun.
Windy Thursday, much cooler into Saturday morning
Winds will be blustery Thursday as chilly air flows into the region. Winds will be from the north at 10-25 mph gusting to 25-35 mph. High temperatures will be in the morning and fall through the day into mainly the 40s by evening.
Thursday night will be frosty for many areas temperatures drop into the 30s south and 20s north under mainly clear skies.
Friday will be even cooler but with lighter winds (under 10 mph from the northwest) and more sunshine.
After a cold night Friday night with widespread 20s to mid-30s, we rebound quickly to close to 60 in southern Minnesota Saturday afternoon and more widespread 60s Sunday. Both weekend days should yield lots of sun. We may even see low 70s again next week for southern Minnesota. The Autumn roller coaster continues!
