Day 2 of mostly light to moderate snowfall is adding up across Minnesota.
Snowfall totals along the North Shore exceed a foot in some locations. In Cook County, areas near Hovland picked up a total of 14 inches of snowfall so far this week.
The Duluth National Weather Service office has recorded 5.2 inches of snow, with radars still pumping snow bands into the region Tuesday afternoon.

The Brainerd area has picked up about 4 inches of snow as of midday.
Areas around the Twin Cities picked up another 1 to 3 inches Tuesday. Here’s the view from the Weather Lab backyard in the suburbs southwest of Minneapolis around midday Tuesday.
Temperatures Tuesday are around the freezing mark, which is better news for treated road surfaces that are wet to slushy, and less icy.
Expect areas of light to occasionally moderate snow to continue through Tuesday night. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s NAM 3 km resolution model shows snow bands swirling in then dissipating Wednesday morning.
Most areas will pick up another inch or less around Minnesota through 6 p.m. Tuesday. A couple of spots may get another 2 inches or so.
