Scattered snow showers will persist Thursday as colder air rushes south. Temperatures will be in the 20s with winds picking up from the northwest at 10-20 mph. Wind chills will drop in the single digits and below zero Thursday night into early Friday.
More snow showers Thursday then cold
We have more scattered snow showers Thursday ahead of much colder air settling in Thursday night into the weekend.
Snow totals will generally be light at one inch or less for most. Heavier snows around Lake Superior will focus more eastward.
Winds will be higher Thursday from the northwest at 10-20 mph and that wind will factor into the dropping temperatures creating subzero wind chills for much of Minnesota Thursday night into early Friday with single digits, barely above zero farther east.
