Thawing temps, quiet weather; light snow north Tuesday

Monday will bring sunshine for central and southern Minnesota. There will be more clouds north. Light snow is possible in northern Minnesota late Monday night into Tuesday. Temperatures will warm gradually through the week into the 30s and low 40s.
Sun in southern MN; clouds, light snow north
Southern Minnesota will see sunshine Monday while clouds increase across northern Minnesota.

High temperatures will be below normal still, mainly in the 20s to low 30s Monday afternoon.

A clipper system will bring light snow to northern Minnesota late Monday night into Tuesday morning. Most places will see less than 1 inch.

Gradual warming through the week
We’ll see temperatures gradually warm up to normal levels (30s) and beyond this week. Thanksgiving Thursday should see high temperatures well into the 30s.

By the weekend warmer-than-normal temperatures build into the central U.S., including Minnesota.

High temperature by Saturday could be in the 40s across southern Minnesota.

Larger system develops south mid to late week
A larger storm system develops late Wednesday into Thanksgiving and early Friday but will affect areas mainly to our south and southeast. A few rain and snow showers will be possible in Minnesota but nothing that should hinder travel.
