Patchy freezing fog early, partly cloudy skies with temperatures warming back into the 30s and even 40s in southwest Minnesota, above normal for the date. Overnight Wednesday night into Thursday clouds increase. Temperatures remain above normal into the weekend.
Mild with sunshine Wednesday
Watch for refreeze and patchy freezing fog early Wednesday. We’ll burn through that quickly and it will be mild again with sunshine nearly statewide most of the day. High temperature will be back in the 30s and even 40s in southwest Minnesota. Clouds will increase toward evening and into the overnight.
Clouds return Thursday with some patchy freezing drizzle possible
Thursday will see cloudy skies and even some fog for Thanksgiving. While the bulks of a storm system will be well to our south, the flow of warmer air and moisture aloft over our relatively cool air will produce some patchy areas of drizzle, light snow. Patchy freezing drizzle is possible in spots since temperatures will be below freezing much of the morning.
