Snow showers will develop in northern Minnesota Tuesday with the chance spreading statewide into Wednesday. Another clipper brings snow showers Friday before arctic air arrives Saturday.
Snow showers Tuesday into Wednesday
Temperatures will be a bit cooler Tuesday behind a front that passed through Minnesota Monday. Highs will be mainly in the 20s Tuesday afternoon.
The first of two clipper systems will bring snow showers to northwest Minnesota Tuesday morning and spread across northern Minnesota Tuesday afternoon and evening. A coating to 1 inch is possible for those areas.
The snow showers will spread east and southeast overnight Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Most areas in southern Minnesota will see less than 1 inch total but 2 inches will be possible for many northern Minnesota spots.
Another clipper Friday, then an arctic blast
Yet another clipper will move into the region Thursday night into Friday bringing more snow showers and likely another couple inches of snowfall.
Behind that clipper will be some frigid air for the first time this month. Highs Saturday will be mainly in the single digits south and subzero north.
Overnight Saturday night will bring subzero temperatures statewide and for the first time this month for much of southern Minnesota, including the Twin Cities.
Wind chill values on Saturday will range from 10 below zero to 30 below zero. We can anticipate even colder conditions Sunday with wind chill values ranging from 20 to near 40 below zero.
High temperatures Sunday will again only be in the single digits south and subzero north.
