Scattered light snow will linger into early afternoon in parts of the Twin Cities metro area. Portions of northern Minnesota and western Wisconsin will see additional accumulating snow through much of the afternoon.
Snow totals
The official three-day snow tally at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport stands at 13.1 inches through noon today:
Much of the metro area had between 14 and 17 inches of snow. I saw a report of 19.3 in Apple Valley and 17.5 inches in Prior Lake.
The National Weather Service has a map of snow reports here. You can zoom in on the linked snow map and hover over any data point to see the snow total, plus the exact location and time of the snow measurement. Here’s how that snow report map looked at 12:30 p.m. Thursday:

If you’re looking for three-day snow totals, keep in mind that many locations saw several inches of snow overnight into this morning. A snow report that came in Wednesday evening will be much lower than the final snowstorm tally at that location.
Some weather observers won’t take their Thursday snow measurement until later in the day, so the map will show many new reports Thursday evening.
If you’re measuring new snow, don’t measure the top of drifts. Pick several spots with very minimal or no drifting and use an average of those measurements for your snow total.
Snow and wind continue to the northeast
Periods of snow and strong winds continue into Thursday afternoon in northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin.
Here are remaining winter storm warnings and advisories through 6 p.m. Thursday:
