Well above normal temperatures this week; late week system brings rain, snow

The first 70s and 80s are on the way

Monday will bring another warm day with lots of sunshine and light winds. Highs will range from near 70 south to the 50s north. Even warmer temps arrive Tuesday and Wednesday with the first 80 in southern Minnesota. Showers develop later in the week with a slow-moving storm system.

Near record warmth ahead

Highs will range from 70 in southern Minnesota to the 50s north Monday with lots of sun and light winds. We’ll see even warmer temperatures Tuesday with the first 70s likely in the Twin Cities area.

Wednesday will bring near record warmth. The record high in the Twin Cities is 83 set back in 1931.

Slow moving storm system brings rain, snow to Minnesota Thursday into Saturday

The warm, dry weather is welcome news considering the rapid melt taking place but a late week storm could bring significant moisture to Minnesota starting north Thursday and spreading south and east into Friday and Saturday.
