River levels are falling
The warmer and drier weather is great news as river levels continue to fall. No river gauges are reporting major flood stage conditions Monday morning. All rivers will continue to drop this week.
The Mississippi river at St. Paul should drop nearly 4 feet over the next seven days. It will fall to minor flood stage by the end of the week.
The Saint Croix River at Stillwater will also drop 3 feet this week, putting it at minor flood stage.
In southeastern Minnesota, the Mississippi River at Winona will stay a bit higher, longer but still fall nearly 3 feet this week.
The Red River at Grand Forks, N.D., will also fall 11 feet, putting it below flood stage in seven days.
