Monday will still be cool and windy. Winds will be northwest 15-30 mph with higher gusts. Temperatures will remain below normal in the low to mid-50s with 40s in northeast Minnesota. Temperatures turn around midweek with 60s and even low 70s possible.
Cool, windy start to the week
The winds will continue to howl Monday as chilly air remains parked over Minnesota. Winds will be 15-30 mph from the northwest with 30-40 mph gusts.
High temperatures will remain cool, mainly in the low to mid-50s with 40s in northeast Minnesota. Eastern Minnesota will be mainly cloudy while it will be sunnier west.
Tuesday will be sunny but still blustery and a bit below normal.
Warming up and drier overall
We finally see seasonable temperatures and above starting Wednesday. Highs will be well into the 60s with even 70 possible in southwest Minnesota.
Temperatures will remain in the 60s and even 70s into next weekend. We may finally have turned the corner toward consistent warmth.
It’ll be mostly dry other than a few isolated showers Wednesday night into Friday.
