Temperatures will be hot, in the 80s and low 90s with more scattered thunderstorms popping up late Friday afternoon into the evening. Saturday will see similar conditions but Sunday looks drier for most with mainly isolated thunder.
Another steamy couple of days with more afternoon and evening thunder chances
The pattern should be familiar by now: any lingering showers dissipate early in the morning with midday sunshine and steamy conditions. Spotty showers and thunderstorms then pop up late afternoon into the evening hours. Welcome to Miami!
Highs Friday will again be close to 90 in southern Minnesota. We’ve seen three in a row so far in the Twin Cities (normal to date is just one).
We will likely see a few more scattered thunderstorms Friday developing in the afternoon and evening hours.
Saturday will again be in the 80s to near 90 with more late day showers and thunder.
Sunday appears to be drier for most with just an isolated thunderstorm as the moisture content decreases some across much of Minnesota and Wisconsin, at least temporarily. We also look to cool off ever so slightly next week with highs temperatures about 3 to 5 degrees cooler.
