Here are air quality forecasts for the next couple of days:
The heat continues to build and expand Tuesday. We’ll have highs near 90 for the Twin Cities and into the 90s across western Minnesota with cooler readings only near the North Shore. These temperatures will be about 10 or more degrees warmer than normal.
Look for a warm overnight with lows mainly in the 60s to around 70 degrees Tuesday night. We’ll be back in the 90+ category Wednesday through probably Friday for southern Minnesota.
Rain potential late week
A very slow moving upper level trough will bring the chance of spotty rain and thunder already to northwest Minnesota Tuesday night into Wednesday but for much of the state will hold off until the weekend.
