Air quality will continue to improve Thursday with a shift in the winds. Highs will be well into the 80s with isolated late afternoon thunder possible, especially north.
Improving air quality Thursday
Air quality will continue to improve through the day Thursday thanks to west winds. Moderate air quality is forecast for most with good air quality forecast in northwest Minnesota.

Isolated thunder possible then heating up by Sunday
Look for a very warm Thursday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 80s south to upper 70s north.
More isolated and spotty thunderstorms will pop up especially for the northern half of Minnesota and southeast Minnesota by late afternoon but one or two can’t be ruled elsewhere either.
Temperatures will remain at normal to above normal readings Friday and Saturday but things are heating up heading into the weekend. Highs will be near 90 or warmer for southern and western Minnesota by Sunday into early next week.
