Showers will drift across southern Minnesota Wednesday morning with more showers possible in central Minnesota midday and afternoon. Temperatures will be warmer Thursday and Friday.
Spotty showers Wednesday; warmer Thursday
Two areas of showers will affect Minnesota Wednesday. One is drifting across southern Minnesota through the morning hours with heavier rainfall and another will bring isolated to spotty showers in the midday and afternoon hours across central Minnesota.
High temperatures will once again be a bit below normal, ranging from the upper 60s north to upper 70s south.
Some isolated showers are possible mainly in northeast and southeast Minnesota Thursday but it will be warmer and stickier in southern Minnesota. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s south with afternoon dew points reaching the low 60s.
Friday could bring some spotty thunderstorms again, but the computer models are mixed on just how much activity could develop. The weekend is looking mainly dry and bright for the south part of the state with isolated thunder north and highs near normal; 80s south and 70s north.
