Temperatures rise with spotty showers north Tuesday
After a slightly cooler than normal weekend, temperatures are warming back up over the next couple of days. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s south to near 80 north Monday. Those readings will again be back above normal.
A few showers are possible later in the day for northern Minnesota Tuesday. Some of that activity could reach central and southern Minnesota Tuesday night, but showers will be more isolated.
By Tuesday through Thursday, temperatures will again reach the 90 degree mark for much of the southern half of Minnesota and portions of western Minnesota. It will also become more muggy across southern Minnesota with dew points returning to the 60s.
A cool front Thursday will drop temperatures and dew points for Friday into the weekend again.
