Friday will be less humid but still very warm to even hot south. A weekend storm system brings rain late Saturday into Sunday night with the potential of significant rainfall.
Very warm still Friday but less humid
Dew points aren’t as muggy Friday, but it will still be quite warm in southern Minnesota. Highs will be well into the 80s to near 90 degrees with highs near 80 northeast.
Dew points will still be sticky, in the 60s and won’t drop much until after the weekend storm system passes.
Weekend storm system brings rain
Rain and thunder showers will develop from west to east later Saturday into Sunday night across much of central and southern Minnesota.
Many areas could receive up to 1 to 3 inches of rainfall. Next week will clear out and be cooler and more comfortable with highs in the 70s to low 80s. Monday afternoon into Tuesday should bring abundant sunshine.
