Cooler, windy Wednesday
What a difference a day and a cold front can make. Temperatures will be substantially cooler with highs mostly in the 60s. Parts of northeast Minnesota will be in just the upper 50s and far western Minnesota will see highs in the low 70s.

We’ll have lingering clouds in eastern Minnesota while western Minnesota will see more sunshine. It will also be windy with northwest winds 10-25 mph, gusting to near 30 mph west.

There will even be a few lingering showers especially in northeast Minnesota.

Air quality will be unhealthy for sensitive groups at times in western Minnesota. An air quality alert has been expanded west through 5 p.m. Wednesday.
