Saturday will be chilly and potentially snowy. What better way to hide from it all than the local opera’s season kickoff concert?
Attendees can expect a full symphony orchestra, nine vocalists and pieces from “La Traviata,” “Pirates of Penzance” and “My Fair Lady.”
One of the soloists is Fargo-Moorhead Opera’s new General Director Curt Olds, who says the Saturday show is for you “if you’re a Broadway fan or if you love great singing.”
Tickets for the Saturday show — at 7:30 p.m. at NDSU’s Reineke Hall — are available at fmopera.org or by calling (701) 239-4558.
“Come join us for a blockbuster evening and celebrate the arts,” Olds said in a statement to MPR News.
