An active pattern continues with lingering precipitation north Monday. Another system arrives bringing rain and even snow for northeast Minnesota late Tuesday into Wednesday.
Mild, windy, with more precipitation chances
There will be scattered showers in northern Minnesota through much of Monday, mostly in the form of rain, but later in the day some showers will turn to snow showers in northeast Minnesota.
It will still be mild in southern Minnesota with highs in the 50s while it will be considerably colder in northwest Minnesota.
Look for blustery winds to continue Monday, this time out of the west. Winds will blow at 15 to 30 mph.
Another disturbance will develop more rain showers late Tuesday into Wednesday. Northeast Minnesota will see some snow as cold air works into the system Tuesday night and Wednesday.
Temperatures will cool off some, into the 40s south and 30s north for late week behind the system. Temperatures then trend back above normal early next week.
