Winds will be lighter but still breezy Friday, adding a chill to the cooler than normal temperatures. We’ll also have more clouds. A big warm up is on track for Sunday into next week.
Chilly couple days before the warm up
Friday will be cool and below normal by a few degrees for most. Highs will range from the low 40s in southwest Minnesota to just around freezing in northern Minnesota.
Winds will be lighter but still breezy at 5 to 15 mph from the northwest creating wind chills in the 20s through the morning. We’ll also have more clouds around Friday into Saturday.
Friday night will be another cold night with widespread 20s and even a few teens in northern Minnesota into early Saturday morning.
Temperatures then warm up quickly and dramatically Sunday into next week. Southern Minnesota should see 50s with even 60s possible by Tuesday and Wednesday. We’ll also remain mostly dry.
