Sunday temps and winds

The average Twin Cities high temperature is 44 degrees on Nov.12. Metro area highs will probably reach the mid 50s Sunday afternoon and a few spots in the Twin Cities metro area could see upper 50s. That’s more like October than November.

Much of Minnesota and western Wisconsin will have Sunday highs in the 50s, with 40s in roughly the northern third of Minnesota:

Rain chance stays to the north

A low pressure system in southern Canada will spin some showers over portions of far northern Minnesota today. Parts of northwestern and north-central Minnesota could see a wintry mix at times this morning, then it will be a chance of scattered rain showers in north-central and northeastern Minnesota Sunday afternoon.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Finite Volume Cubed Sphere (FV3) model shows the potential precipitation pattern from 11 a.m. Sunday to 5 p.m. Sunday:
