It will be a chilly Thanksgiving with highs ranging from the 20s into the low 30s. Thursday night will be cold with lows in teens and single digits. Temperatures remain chilly into the weekend.
A chilly Thanksgiving with colder than normal temps sticking around
Temperatures will be about 5 to 10 degrees below normal Thursday with high temperatures ranging from the low 20s to the low 30s.
We’ll have partly cloudy skies and dry conditions through Saturday nearly statewide.
Thursday night will bring the coldest temperatures of the season yet for the Twin Cities. It will be our first low in the teens.
Friday will remain cold but with lighter winds and more sunshine. Highs will be mainly in the 20s to near 30 for a few spots in southern Minnesota.
Expect below normal temperatures to continue into next week. We’ll also see the chance of snow showers Sunday into Monday with a relatively minor disturbance moving through the region.
Beyond that, temperatures will warm to slightly above normal readings by late next week into next weekend.
