Friday continues to be mild with areas of fog, drizzle and a few sprinkles. Temperatures will be even warmer this weekend with rain developing Sunday.
Mild but dreary with rain developing Sunday
Friday will bring thick cloud cover and areas of fog. Patchy drizzle and a few sprinkles will also be possible.
The mild weather continues Friday with morning temperatures already mostly in the 30s. We’ll see highs in the 40s across southern Minnesota.
Saturday will bring even warmer readings to the region with more clouds than sun. Highs will approach 50 in southern Minnesota.
Sunday still looks to break records with highs in the 50s across southern Minnesota. We’ll also see rain develop as our larger and slow moving storm system brings on and off rain into early Wednesday. A narrow area of snow will develop on the western edge with the most likely area of accumulations north and northwest Sunday night into Monday and possibly farther south into Tuesday.
Above normal temperatures continue into next week, even behind the storm system.
