Thursday will remain a little cool but close to normal with a mix of sun and clouds. Friday will be warmer ahead of a system bringing weekend snow showers.
Near normal temperatures Thursday then warmer Friday with snow developing this weekend
While a little cool relative to our mild weather lately, Thursday will yield near-normal temperatures mostly in the 20s. Those readings are still a bit above normal.
We should see a mix of sun and clouds Thursday, but clouds will thicken back up for Friday ahead of our weekend disturbance. Friday and Saturday will also be warmer as that system pulls back north.
Light snow develops late Friday north and then expands statewide into Saturday and Saturday night with lingering snow showers ending early Sunday.
Snowfall will be more significant in northeast Minnesota where up to several inches could fall. Totals will be less farther south but should bring a fresh coating.
