Wind chill warnings and advisories persist for most of Minnesota through midday Tuesday. Temperatures will be much warmer by the weekend. There will be some light north Monday night.
Frigid cold slowly modifies this week
Monday is yet another very cold day with most of the state remaining below zero for high temperatures.
Wind chills this morning are between 25 and 40 below zero, by afternoon they’ll improve just a little but mostly remain in the 20s to 35 below zero.
Overnight Monday night will be another cold night, below zero statewide.
There will be some light snow showers in northern Minnesota Monday night into Tuesday.
Temperatures will slowly warm up through the week into the upcoming weekend. Highs will be normal by Sunday in the 20s and teens. 30s are likely next week for southern Minnesota.
