Updraft® - Minnesota Weather News

Bright and chilly today; shot at 20s Sunday, then 30s Monday

Warm days to close out January

Our Saturday high temperatures will be in the single-digits above zero across most of Minnesota.

Some spots in the Twin Cities metro area and up along the North Shore of Lake Superior could reach the lower teens. Double-digit highs are also possible in western Wisconsin.

Afternoon wind chills will be in the teens below zero across much of western Minnesota, with mainly single-digits below zero to the east.

It’s looking like a dry day for most of Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

Breezy Sunday

Winds will be gusty on Sunday, due to the combination of a low pressure sytem to our west and a high pressure sytem over the Ohio River Valley. Sunday looks mainly dry, but far northwestern Minnesota could see a snow shower late Sunday evening.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale Forecast System model shows the potential precipitation pattern from 6 a.m. Sunday to 10 p.m. Sunday:
