Today in Fargo-Moorhead: More highs in the 40s, Taylor Drift and Draw Club

The warmth continues: Highs should be in the 40s this week with a sun/cloud mix. A slight chance of rain is on tap for Friday night, increasing into Saturday.

Every time it snows on the Minnesota side of the Red River, keep an eye out for Taylor Swift — kind of.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation’s Name a Snowplow contest winners were released Tuesday. The Taylor Drift snowplow (northwest Minnesota version) can be spotted along with seven other punnily named plows across the state.

A handful of Minnesota school districts are experimenting with electric buses. Early adopters, like Morris Area Schools, find a lot to like about the clean running, quiet vehicles — but there are key barriers to wider adoption of the technology.

From the Fargo Forum: A South Fargo alleyway closed for several hours Tuesday after law enforcement fired a weapon. Officials called it a “critical incident.”

Draw Club at Atomic Coffee in downtown Fargo meets Tuesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday is also Front Street Taproom’s trivia night and open mic at Boss’ Comedy Club
