Fog and freezing drizzle are waning Tuesday afternoon with lingering, patchy fog. Patchy drizzle is expected Tuesday night.
That rain is likely to transition to snow late Thursday into Friday, the National Weather Service says. The area has a 40 to 60 percent chance of 2 inches or more, which could come with minor travel impacts. Expect highs in the mid to upper 40s Wednesday and Thursday.

The Fargo Fire Department says 65-year-old Connie M. Frodge died Saturday after an apartment fire on Jan. 28. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office is determining the cause of death. The department says the fire, caused by “improperly discarded smoking materials,” started in a bedroom.

The West Fargo City Commission voted unanimously to hire planning and designing consultants for a $25,000 project. It would renovate its City Hall into expanded police headquarters, the Fargo Forum reports.
Wednesday is the first day Minnesotans will be able to apply for a rebate for purchasing an electric vehicle. EV buyers could receive up to $2,500 back for a new vehicle or up to $600 for a used one. The rebates are expected to go quickly.
