Welcome to another “winter” day in Minnesota that feels more like spring. The forecast is all about temperatures with little precipitation in sight.
Temperatures are already soaring into the upper 40s as of this post time Wednesday afternoon. We’ll top out around the 50-degree mark in the Twin Cities and much of southern Minnesota.
It’s the latest wave of mild Pacific air in a series this winter that look likely to continue into early March.
Highs Thursday will be a few degrees cooler across Minnesota.

By Friday a one-day speed bump arrives with temperatures closer to normal.
Another weekend warm surge
It’s incredible how the warm waves just keep coming this winter. The weekend brings another shot of Pacific air to Minnesota. Highs will push well into the 40s again to near 50 degrees in the south this weekend.
The mild spell lasts into early next week before a cool down by midweek.
And guess what?
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s temperature outlook favors milder-than-normal weather well into March.
