Clouds will linger in eastern Minnesota Tuesday while western Minnesota skies will be brighter. Wednesday will be much warmer with spotty showers possible into Thursday.
Lingering clouds east Tuesday; warmer temps Wednesday
There are some lingering sprinkles still in northern Minnesota early Tuesday. Many areas saw nearly 1 inch of total rainfall over the past two days in east-central Minnesota and the North Shore.
Clouds will linger in eastern Minnesota while western Minnesota sees more sun.
That sunshine will generate some spotty instability showers in eastern Minnesota Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Temperatures will be warmer west Tuesday as a result of more sunshine.
Wednesday will be much warmer with widespread 60s and brighter skies.
Spotty showers will also be possible Wednesday into Thursday as an upper-level disturbance and a cool front moves through.
Temps will dip some for Thursday and Friday before warming back up this weekend. Highs will be mostly in the 50s Thursday.
Things warm up quite a bit again for the weekend with 70s and 60s widespread across Minnesota Saturday and Sunday along with quite a bit of sunshine. Northern Minnesota will see a few more clouds and cooler temperatures as a result.
