A bright Sunday; shower chance Monday afternoon

Milder temps today and Monday

It was a chilly start to our Sunday.

The morning low temperatures were in the upper 20s to lower 30s across most of Minnesota and western Wisconsin. A few spots in northwestern Minnesota dipped into the lower 20s.

Temperatures will recover nicely Sunday afternoon, with highs around 60 to the lower 60s in much of the southern half of Minnesota and in the Red River Valley of northwestern Minnesota:

Highs in the 50s are expected elsewhere in Minnesota and in western Wisconsin.

Low temperatures late Sunday night into early Monday morning will be mainly in the 30s:

A few spots in southwestern Minnesota could touch 70 degrees Monday afternoon.

Dry Sunday, rain chance returns Monday

Sunday and Sunday night look dry in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. A chance of scattered showers arrives Monday afternoon and that shower chance continues into Monday evening.
