MPR News, the nonpartisan organization Braver Angels and University of Minnesota-Rochester hosted an in-person conversation on April 24 for Talking Sense — our election-year reporting project that aims to help Minnesotans have hard political conversations, better.
The event included a mix of college students and community members from across the political spectrum at the Chateau Theatre in Rochester. Participants honed their skills for disagreeing better with people who see political issues differently. The discussion was led by Braver Angels co-founder Bill Doherty.
