Clouds and showers will linger Monday, especially in northern Minnesota where a wintry mix of precipitation will fall in some places. Tuesday will be warmer with storms possible later in the day.
Recent rainfall and a wet April for most
The weekend rains have been substantial for much of southwest and central Minnesota, and up to the North Shore. Most of those areas saw about 2 or more inches of widespread rainfall.
Even northwest Minnesota, which has missed out on a lot of the significant recent rains, got some rainfall.
April’s month-to-date precipitation is running above normal for most of Minnesota. The exception is north-central Minnesota from Bemidji to International Falls.
