Looking for some sunshine? You’re not alone. Our soggy spring has produced plenty of rainfall, and a deficit of sunny days.
Our latest soaking rain Thursday morning produced some impressive rainfall totals across southern Minnesota. Rainfall of an inch or more fell along and south of the Interstate 90 corridor.
Most of the Twin Cities picked up between one-half and 1 inch of rainfall, but some local totals were over an inch. Rainfall has been lighter in much of central and northern Minnesota.

Sunny Friday ahead
Friday brings abundant sunshine to Minnesota. In fact, Friday, Sunday, and Monday look like spectacular spring days. Highs Friday will push 70 degrees in southern Minnesota with 60s north.
A narrow band of rain showers will cross Minnesota Saturday morning, but the afternoon hours look drier.
Sunday brings the finest day of the weekend with highs again near 70 degrees in the south.
Monday brings even warmer temperatures with plenty of sunshine.
