Showers will lift north Tuesday morning with some pop-up showers or thunderstorms possible Tuesday afternoon and evening in central Minnesota. Wednesday brings another chance for rain to southern Minnesota.
Unsettled Tuesday with more showers
Scattered rain showers will continue to lift north Tuesday morning into northern Minnesota. We’ll see some partial clearing in central and southern Minnesota midday Tuesday into the afternoon.
The sun will allow temps to warm up into the low 70s across central Minnesota.
The bit of midday sun will lead some spotty, instability-driven showers or thunder to develop in the afternoon and evening Tuesday. A couple storms that develop could produce small hail and non-severe wind gusts.

It’ll be another windy day with the strongest wind gusts in northwestern Minnesota blowing over 40 mph at times.
The next chance of showers develops across mainly southern Minnesota Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night.
Wednesday will be another warm day across southern Minnesota with highs in the 70s. Northeastern Minnesota will be cooler, mostly in the 50s but just upper 40s right near Lake Superior.
Yet another chance of spotty showers develops Friday before things mostly dry out for the weekend.
Just an isolated shower or two is possible over the weekend with partly cloudy skies and seasonable temperatures.
