Our well-advertised Tuesday storm brought rain and thunder to the Twin Cities. But more numerous high wind and damage reports occurred across southern Minnesota.
Several tornado warnings were issued Tuesday afternoon south of the Twin Cities.
Storms achieved smaller scale rotations, but as of this post time, no tornadoes have been reported near the Twin Cities. A tornado was reported near Rollingstone in Winona County late Tuesday evening.
Here are some wind and damage reports from Minnesota as of early Tuesday evening. Most of these occurred across southeast Minnesota.

A flood watch remains in effect for much of eastern Minnesota Tuesday night.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Minnesota, including the following areas, Anoka, Benton, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Kanabec, McLeod, Meeker, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Sibley, Washington and Wright and Wisconsin, including the following areas, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix.
* WHEN...Until 1 AM CDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

More sunshine returns Wednesday and Thursday across Minnesota. Highs will reach the 70s south with 50s north Wednesday.
Thusday brings milder air to Minnesota.
The next rain chance arrives Friday.
