Sunshine, dry weather Wednesday ahead of more rain Thursday night
A very pleasant Wednesday can be expected thanks to high pressure. Winds will be light and we’ll see just a few fair weather cumulus clouds in the afternoon. High temperatures will be warmer, ranging from the upper 60s to low 70s.
The sunshine will persist through Wednesday. Eastern Minnesota will also see sun much of Thursday but clouds will increase in western Minnesota starting Thursday morning.
Thursday will be warmer, with highs in the mid to upper 70s across southern Minnesota.

The next system will already spread showers into western Minnesota by Thursday afternoon and evening, then move east into Thursday night and Friday with lingering instability Saturday.
The best chances of rainfall during the daylight hours Thursday will be for the western half of the state.
Rainfall through early Saturday will generally be at an inch or less with this next system but locally higher amounts are possible in some thunderstorms.
The weekend will be warmer with isolated shower and thunder chances.
Highs should reach the low 80s by Sunday and Monday for southern Minnesota with another round of rain and thunder likely Sunday night into Monday.
