Tuesday will see a drop in dew points and slightly cooler temperatures. Highs will range from the mid-70s northwest to mid-80s south.
There will be another chance at showers and thunderstorms late Thursday into Friday, but overall this week will see less frequent storm chances and with a lower risk of excessive rainfall.
Any rainfall will have to be monitored carefully though as rivers will continue to rise and soils are saturated, unable to absorb significant rain.
