Cooler Tuesday with a mix of clouds and sun; dry rest of the week

Cooler and much drier air continues to flow across the state Tuesday. We’ll see a mix of clouds and sun with a few spotty showers. The next few days should be mostly sunny and nice.

Cooler Tuesday with a pleasant stretch of weather mid to late week

It’s already much more comfortable as dew points continue to drop today. We’ll see a cooler day with highs mainly in the 70s:

An upper-level disturbance is swinging through the region Tuesday around a cool, upper-level low centered toward Hudson Bay. It will bring afternoon clouds and possibly a few showers.

The spotty showers will be primarily in portions of northern and western Minnesota. We could see a couple of showers in the Twin Cities as well with a mix of clouds and sun:

After Tuesday, surface high pressure will be making its home in Minnesota. This will keep skies mostly clear Wednesday through Friday and also generally cooler than normal:

It’ll be downright cool Tuesday night, especially north where lows will fall into the 40s for the next couple of nights:
