Unsettled weather continues Monday and Tuesday with spotty afternoon storms. Drier and more stable air moves in Wednesday through Saturday.
Spotty thunder Monday, Tuesday; dry weather later this week
We’ll have another warm, muggy day Monday with highs back in the low to mid-80s for most. Northeastern and southeastern Minnesota will be a bit cooler, in the upper 70s.
The pattern remains unsettled Monday and Tuesday with spotty afternoon storms developing once again.
Most activity during the day Monday will be in northern Minnesota. By evening into the overnight that chance will spread south. During the day Tuesday, the best chances will be confined to southern Minnesota.

A cool front slides through Tuesday, allowing dew points to drop Wednesday into Friday. That drier air will help stabilize things once again. Look for mainly dry weather and plenty of sunshine Wednesday into Saturday.
We’ll be heating up heading into the last weekend of July. A bit of that upper-level heat ridge to the west will slide east into the weekend.
We could see just our second 90-degree reading in the Twin Cities by the weekend or early next week.
There could also be at least some isolated thunderstorms by Sunday.
