“I turn 69 on Thursday, Aug. 8. I retired nearly four years ago after a 42-year career as reporter and videographer for The Associated Press news service. Since then I have toured the Mid-Atlantic states and the American Southwest, England and Scotland with my wife, Laura. In early 2025 I plan to lead a rock band playing “Werewolves of London” Warren Zevon’s music. Every day is a joy.”
