The past week has continued the trend of much above average rainfall this spring and summer across Minnesota. Thankfully, Wednesday showers will dump less rainfall than many locations saw Monday.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s NAM 3 km resolution model and others suggest the heaviest rain will fall across central and northern Minnesota with this system.

Dry spell ahead

It looks like we may finally get a string of dry days for Minnesota. High pressure will keep most of Minnesota dry into next Monday. We can use the break in the rain.

Highs will be in the comfortable 60s and 70s through the upcoming weekend.
