Friday afternoon temperatures continue to range from the 60s to low 70s. Winds will continue out of the northwest. Very isolated rain chances are possible up north into Friday evening.
Cool and mostly dry
Northwesterly winds continue to usher in that cooler Canadian air mass. Look for winds between 5-15 mph, with gusts between 20-25 mph.
Temperatures for Friday will top out in the mid to upper 60s, with the exception of the Arrowhead region only reaching the mid to upper 50s.
Dry air with dew points in the 40s will continue through Saturday, before 50-degree dew points return on Sunday.

Isolated rain chances continue mainly for northern Minnesota. A few stray showers could be seen as far as Interstate 94, into the northern Twin Cities metro.
Warmup in the forecast; precipitation chances increase next week
On Sunday, our temperatures will climb back into the mid to upper 70s. Sunshine continues through the weekend, with a very little chance for rain. High pressure builds in early next week, prolonging our dry period.
An unsettled weather pattern emerges for the middle of next week with temperatures returning to the 80s for portions of central and southern Minnesota.
The precipitation outlook for the next six to 10 days picks up on this potential shower activity, and shows our increased odds for above average precipitation.
With this prolonged cooler weather pattern, one has to wonder if it will affect our arrival of the fall colors? This meteorologist is NOT ready for that quite yet.
