Temperatures will be slightly cooler but right near normal Tuesday. Southwestern Minnesota will see scattered showers. The next chance of spotty thunder comes Thursday into Thursday night.
Filtered sun with some showers southwest
Tuesday will be pleasant for much of Minnesota. The sun will be filtered through high clouds. Southwestern Minnesota will see scattered rain showers develop.
The southwestern corner of the state could see up to one-quarter to one-half inch of rain.
Highs will be right near normal, mostly in the upper 70s Tuesday with cooler readings in southwestern Minnesota with the showers and near Lake Superior.

Wednesday will see more sunshine with partly cloudy skies and highs again in the upper 70s.
Clouds will increase some Thursday as the next upper-level disturbance moves into the region. Spotty thunder will be possible in western and northern Minnesota. Any activity could spread into eastern Minnesota overnight Thursday night.
We could have an isolated thunderstorm Friday.
Heat is still on track to build in for the weekend. Highs could be near 90 by Sunday for much of southern Minnesota and potentially into early next week.
