Tuesday and Wednesday will be breezy and warmer. Tuesday will be sunny while clouds increase Wednesday ahead of a cool front that will touch off showers Wednesday night.
Sunny Tuesday and warmer, but cooler air coming late week
Tuesday will be another gorgeous day with mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures. Highs will be in the upper 70s in the eastern part of the state while highs could reach the mid to upper 80s in the Red River Valley.
Wednesday will be warmer with highs in the 80s across southern Minnesota and increasing cloud cover ahead of a cool front.
With the warmer push of air ahead of a cool front, it will be rather breezy to downright windy at times in western Minnesota on Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds will be south at 10-20 mph with higher gusts possible.

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms develop Wednesday night as the front sweeps across the state.
Rainfall amounts look pretty light, generally under one-half inch. Amounts will be heavier north and lighter south.
Behind the front will be the coolest air mass since May. Temperatures will be below normal Friday into the weekend.
Friday into the weekend will be significantly cooler with highs in the 60s south and just 50s north.
We’ll also see a chilly overnight Friday night with widespread 30s in northern Minnesota and 40s south. It will be the first overnight below 50 degrees in the Twin Cities since May 25.
