“Happy birthday to a pioneering woman in Minnesota broadcasting. Remember Robyne Robinson? Robyne was the first Black female to anchor a local primetime newscast. Robyne, who’s a Minnesota Broadcast Hall of Famer, worked for years at KMSP-TV. She splits her time nowadays between Santa Fe and the Twin Cities. She’s doing great and she’s enjoying her birthday today.”
