Our bonus summer in September appears ready to linger. Temperatures Friday ran more than 10 degrees warmer than normal across most of Minnesota.
We’ll ease over a minor speed bump Saturday as moisture from what was Hurricane Francine brings a few more clouds to Minnesota and Wisconsin. That will trim high temperatures a few degrees on Saturday.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s NAM 3 km model shows the best chance for showers Saturday morning into midday. The forest model loop below runs between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Sunday will feel more like July or early August once again, Highs will rocket back into the mid and even upper 80s across much of Minnesota by Sunday afternoon.
