After a chilly start, Saturday will remain close to normal for temperatures. High pressure departs allowing more very warm air to return for early next week.
Cool again Saturday; much warmer early next week with more rain possible
It’s a frosty start for many with more typical temperatures across Minnesota for the time of year. Afternoon highs will be on the cooler, but near-normal side once again Saturday, mostly in the 50s across Minnesota.
Sunday brings above-normal temperatures once again with highs in the mid to upper 60s across southern Minnesota, which is 10 to 15 degrees above normal again.
Temperatures will be even warmer Monday and Tuesday with highs well into the 70s for southern Minnesota. Some models even push highs to near 80 degrees Tuesday afternoon.
Most notably, we’re likely to develop a more active pattern next week bringing two chances at additional rainfall. The first system affects Minnesota Tuesday night into Wednesday with another next weekend.
