Windy weekend
A stunning Saturday with temperatures running more than 10 degrees above average. Our highs will max out in the mid-50s with partly cloudy skies.
A dry clipper system will move across the state today, shifting winds to the west. Expect sustained winds from the south-southeast at 12-25 mph, with gusts reaching up to 35 mph.

Tonight, temperatures will dip into the upper 30s to low 40s across the eastern half of the state, while the western regions will see cooler lows in the lower to mid-30s. Winds will remain gusty overnight, coming from the west at 10-20 mph.
Sunday is shaping up to be another pleasant day, with highs reaching into the low 50s—an impressive 10 degrees above the seasonal average. Northern Minnesota will see the lower to mid-40s with some additional cloud cover.
Strong system next week
The forecast is still on track to see a strong, low pressure system, with copious amounts of moisture. Rain is expected to move in Monday afternoon and continue into Tuesday, with some areas receiving totals of over an inch to an inch and a half.
Cooler air will follow in the wake of the system, and light snow is possible in some areas. However, forecast models are still showing some discrepancies, so this will need to be monitored closely. Stay tuned for updates.
